An exclusive design for A Stitch in Time in Hobart
The lovely Kerrilyn at A Stitch in Time in Hobart asked me to create a Christmas-themed biscornu for this year’s Christmas in July retreat. I love getting design prompts, as it helps me come up with designs that I may not have created on my own! I had a lot of fun playing with traditional Christmas motifs such as red-nosed reindeers, snowflakes and little Christmas cottages hidden in a Christmas forest.
‘Reindeer Dance’ is now available exclusively from A Stitch in Time (you can find it here and see Kerrilyn’s beautiful finish), as well as threadpacks from the Cottage Garden Threads Bookshelf Edit, my collaboration with them.
It was also a perfect chance to play with the variegation in some of these threads, such as Fireplace – a wonderful mix of brown, red and glowing yellow.

This is good news. De shipping costs to The Netherlands are so high. I will have to wait, but I will come back and make the biscornu for Christmas 2024.
